Egypt, Italy probe boosting military cooperation

Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production Abdel Meguid Sakr on Thursday discussed with Italian Minister of Defense Guido Crosetto means of enhancing military cooperation.

This came during a meeting between Sakr and the visiting Italian defense minister and his accompanying delegation.

The meeting tackled a number of topics of mutual interest .

It also discussed transferring and exchanging expertise between the armed forces of both countries.

The meeting was attended by a host of Egyptian and Italian military top brass.
