North Korea on Friday launched at least one unidentified ballistic missile toward the Sea of Japan, South Korean military officials said, reports South Korea’s Yonhap news agency.
Japan’s Ministry of Defense (MoD) also reported the possible launch of a ballistic missile by North Korea.
The Japan Coast Guard, citing the MoD, stated that “the suspected ballistic missile has likely already fallen,” and urged ships at sea to carefully monitor the information being received.
