Pentagon has $9.3 billion left for military aid to Ukraine

The U.S. Department of Defense has confirmed the funds left for Ukraine’s military assistance.

A Ukrainian journalist who received information from a Pentagon briefing said that $9.3 billion was left for military aid to Ukraine. Approximately $7.1 billion is left in the Presidential Drawdown (PDA).

In essence, a PDA is a transfer of weapons from the U.S. Department of Defense stockpile.In April, Congress approved $4.3 billion, and $2.8 billion became available after recalculations.

Additionally, there’s approx $2.2 billion available under the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative (USAI). The Pentagon spokesman emphasized that the United States will use all available funds to help Ukraine.

The Pentagon claims that between the passage of the April Supp & the middle of last month, they have delivered the following commitments:
