UK to Allocate Additional $3.9 Billion for Weapons for Ukraine

The United Kingdom will allocate $3.9 billion (£3 billion) to supply weapons to Ukraine.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced this following a conversation with UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham.

The UK’s additional support will total $13.3 billion (£10 billion). The $3.9 billion allocation will be provided in the form of British export support to meet Ukraine’s defense needs.

The remaining $9.3 billion is intended to support Ukraine’s economy and will be disbursed over the next three years.

The funding will be in addition to the annual military and financial assistance that the UK already provides on a regular basis.
