NVO Praktika, a Ukrainian manufacturer of armored military and specialized vehicles, has signed a memorandum on industrial cooperation with Spain’s Tecnove and Escribano Mechanical & Engineering.
As noted by the Ukrainian side, the cooperation establishes joint production in Spain of armored 4×4 vehicles, fire-support platforms, and specialized equipment based on Praktika’s designs and Tecnove’s manufacturing capacity.
Company representatives say a share of the components will be produced in Ukraine, while final assembly will take place at a Spanish facility for future deliveries to Ukraine, Spain, and partner countries. All work will follow export-control procedures.
The agreement comes at a time when Spain is preparing a new package of security assistance for Ukraine. The deal reflects what they describe as a broader transition toward steady industrial cooperation: Ukrainian systems tested in combat are being integrated into European production lines, supporting both Ukraine’s Defense Forces and the defense posture of allied countries.
Praktika currently manufactures Kozak-2M and Kozak-5 armored vehicles. These platforms are among the most common in the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The company also has proposals in its portfolio for the production of 6×6 and 8×8 armored personnel carriers, though there is no information about series orders at this stage.
The new cooperation format will combine Ukrainian battlefield experience with European industrial capacity. According to the press information provided, the joint work is intended to support continued deliveries of armored systems to Kyiv and to expand options for partner nations seeking modern tactical vehicles.
The arrangement is designed to streamline production during wartime constraints. It also ensures that a portion of assembly and integration will take place inside the European Union, which simplifies logistics for partner governments that may purchase vehicles produced under the joint program.
