Ukraine Expands AI Strike Arsenal With ‘Anubis’ and ‘Seth-X’ Drone Pair

Anubis and Seth-X are new Ukrainian Airlogix strike drones designed to expand autonomous combat capabilities in contested environments.

Ukrainian firm Airlogix has lifted the curtain on two new strike drones built to support engagements in contested environments.

“Anubis” is built for deep-strike missions, while “Seth-X” is designed for swarm attacks, expanding Ukraine’s strike capabilities.

Anubis: A Stealthy Attack Drone

Based on available images, Anubis features a sleek aerodynamic fuselage finished in a matte black coating, suggesting a design optimized for a low visual and radar signature.

Its most distinctive feature is a delta-wing configuration that tapers toward the rear, paired with a large vertical stabilizer and angled tail fins for enhanced flight stability.

The drone leverages Auterion’s AI-based terminal guidance to engage high-value assets, including in environments where GPS signals may be degraded or unavailable.

At the rear, Anubis is fitted with an exposed combustion engine and a two-blade propeller, a setup likely intended to support long-endurance flight required for deep-strike missions.

Seth-X: Short-Range Swarm Strike Drone

The Seth-X is a compact, short-range loitering munition featuring a distinctive X-wing or “criss-cross” configuration, with four rectangular wings extending from a central fuselage.

Unlike its larger counterpart, the main body is wrapped in a transparent protective covering that exposes internal structural elements and components.

It is likely powered by a quiet electric motor and a small rear propeller, with a lightweight, portable design intended for rapid tactical deployment against infantry and light armored vehicles.

The system also supports swarm coordination, allowing a single operator to deploy and manage multiple units at once to overwhelm a target area.

Bolstering Ukraine’s Strike Capabilities

Anubis and Seth-X are among the systems included in a production order under the Auterion and Airlogix joint venture for several thousand autonomous strike platforms.

Once operational, the drones are expected to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine in neutralizing tactical threats and disrupting ground operations.

Production will take place in Germany, marking what the companies describe as the country’s largest order for heavy autonomous strike drones to date.

“It marks an important step in scaling solutions that have already proven their effectiveness in real combat conditions and in strengthening technological cooperation between Ukraine and Europe,” the company stated.
