The Ukrainian marines demonstrated the attack on the Russian positions in one of the occupied villages.

The video of the work of the Ukrainian military was published by the Command of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Tanks and Turkish Kirpi armored vehicles were used in the assault by the Ukrainian marines.

Turkish Kirpi play the role of infantry fighting vehicles in battle.

In August 2022, the Turkish government handed over 50 Kirpi armored vehicles to Ukraine.

The supply of armored vehicles to the Armed Forces of Ukraine was the result of a government agreement rather than an agreement between Ukraine and the company-manufacturer of these armored vehicles.

The Kirpi has an armored monocoque with four bulletproof windows and cushioned seats.

At the front of the Kirpi armored vehicle is the engine, and in the middle part is the crew compartment. The landing compartment extends from the center to the aft part of the hull.

The vehicle is equipped with mine-explosion resistant seats, the Kirpi 4×4 is capable of accommodating up to 13 personnel, including the driver, machine gunner and commander.

Presumably, the Ukrainian military uses these vehicles in battles in the Kherson Region.

Recall, on August 29, the Ukrainian army announced a counteroffensive in the Kherson direction. The liberation of the Kherson Region is possible only after the de-occupation of the right-bank part of it. The right and left banks of the region are connected by three bridges: Antonivka Road Bridge; the railway bridge near Kherson; and the third one — near Kakhovka Hydroelectric Station.

The Operational Command “South” stated that the Armed Forces broke through the first line of defense of the Russian army near Kherson. The Armed Forces of Ukraine consider it premature to announce the results of their actions. The General Staff temporarily banned civilian journalists from working in the war zone.
