Russia deploys 3 missile carriers to Black Sea

Russia has deployed three missile launchers to the Black Sea, the spokesman for the Ukrainian Volunteer Army South, Serhiy Bratchuk, reported

The Russians have also put two submarines and the frigate Admiral Makarov on combat duty in the Black Sea. Between them, the ships carry up to 16 Kalibr cruise missiles

The spokeswoman for the Joint Coordination Press Center of the Southern Defense Forces, Natalia Humenyuk, said earlier that the Russian fleet in the Black and Azov seas is less active than last winter.

Powerful explosions rocked the port of Feodosia overnight on Dec. 25-26. Subsequently, Air Force Commander Mykola Oleshchuk reported a strike on the Russian large landing ship Novocherkassk.
