Boeing awarded $1.17 billion US Navy contract
The contract includes canister exercise missiles, containers, blast test vehicles, Harpoon Weapon System Joint Common Test Sets, training equipment, technical and logistical support, and spare parts. Work is expected to be completed in 2029
Boeing was awarded a $1,170,768,698 contract to supply the US Navy with canister exercise missiles, containers, blast test vehicles, Harpoon Weapon System (HWS) Joint Common Test Sets, training equipment, technical and logistical support, and spare parts to the US Navy.
The US Department of State announced on Friday that this contract is an undefinitized modification to a firm-fixed-price order, against a previously issued basic ordering agreement.
Work will be performed in several locations across the US – in Michigan, Maryland, New Jersey, Missouri, Vermont, and various other locations within and outside the continental U.S – and is expected to be completed in March 2029.
Foreign Military Sales funds in the amount of current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
