Boeing Wins $2.73B US Apache Helicopter Support Contract

Boeing has secured a $2.73-billion contract from the US to provide post production support for the Apache attack helicopter, a deal set to run through 2030.
The contract covers ongoing maintenance, technical support, and sustainment services for the Apache fleet, ensuring the aircraft remain fully operational and mission-ready.
Boeing’s scope includes systems upgrades, spare parts supply, and troubleshooting support to help the US Army maintain peak readiness.
Apache helicopters are central to US Army combat capabilities, providing close air support, armed reconnaissance, and anti-armor operations.
Boeing and Apache Developments
The Apache program has seen several expansions and upgrades in recent years.
In 2022, Boeing completed work on the AH-64E Guardian modernization program, equipping older Apache models with updated avionics, communications systems, and improved sensor suites to enhance battlefield awareness.
A year later, Boeing delivered AH-64E helicopters to the US Army under the Apache Fleet Modernization initiative, adding over a dozen newly upgraded helicopters to frontline units. This program focused on digital architecture upgrades and integration of advanced weapons systems.
In 2024, Boeing was contracted to supply enhanced Apache mission equipment packages, including improved targeting and navigation systems, to support training and operational readiness across army units.
