Great Britain Transfers a Record Military Aid Package to Ukraine Worth GBP 500 mln

The UK Ministry of Defense has announced the transfer of a military aid package worth £500 mln ($626,2 mln) to Ukraine

This is stated in a message of the UK Ministry of Defense on the X social network.

“The UK is delivering its largest ever military aid package to Ukraine. Alongside GBP 500 million in military funding, the UK is providing vital equipment,” the message reads.

At the end of April this year, during a visit to Poland, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak announced this military aid package worth 500 million pounds.

At the same time, British Defense Secretary Grant Shapps said at the time that “this record package of military aid will give President Zelensky and his brave nation more of the tools they need to oust Putin and restore peace and stability in Europe.”
