Indo Defense 2022 continues in Indonesia

The International Indonesia Defense Expo (Indo Defense Expo), which is hosted by the Indonesian Ministry of Defense every two years, continues in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia.

Indo Defense Fair is an important and strategic meeting point for the leaders of the defense industry sector in Asia Pacific countries as well as Indonesia.

Indonesian President Joko Widodo, who participated in various events held on the second day of the defense fair, was accompanied by Indonesian Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto.

Joko Widodo and Prabowo Subianto watched the counter-terrorism and hostage rescue simulation run by the Indonesian Special Forces Command (Kopassus) as part of the fair events.

Minister of Defense Prabowo stated that 905 companies, 158 domestic and 747 foreign companies, from 59 countries participated in the defense technology fair, which is held every two years.

Prabowo; “The fair, which was organized with wide participation, offers great opportunities to create business opportunities and exchange technology between countries.” made the statement.

Indonesian President Joko Widodo and Indonesian Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto were also accompanied by the deputy defense minister and military commanders from 31 countries.
