Ukraine’s President thanked Japan for the $7.6 billion package of financial assistance that was allocated earlier.
Zelensky also expressed gratitude to Japan for the decision to accept wounded Ukrainian servicemen to the Self-Defence Force Central Hospital for treatment.

President Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine counts on Japan’s support for the Global Summit on the implementation of the Ukrainian Peace Formula.
As previously reported, this is not the first aid from Japan to Ukraine. In March, Japanese MPs bought 20 pickup trucks for the Ukrainian military at their own expense.
Also in March, Japan allocated $30 million for the supply of non-lethal weapons to Ukraine through the NATO trust fund.
April, Ukrainian rescuers received humanitarian aid from the Japan International Cooperation Agency
