Jordan showcases advanced defense tech at IDEX 2025
The Jordan Design and Development Bureau (JODDB) is set to participate in the International Defence Exhibition & Conference (IDEX) 2025, one of the largest global events dedicated to the defense industry.
JODDB will present a wide range of advanced security solutions and next-generation technology systems through its subsidiary companies and business units in the Jordanian pavilion.
One of the highlights of JODDB’s exhibition will be the Al-Wahsh Al-Kaser armored vehicle. This vehicle has been upgraded with high-tech systems designed to provide maximum protection for military convoys and operational forces in combat zones. It boasts enhanced firepower, day and night surveillance capabilities, detection and jamming systems, and a highly mobile tactical platform suited for rough terrain. The Al-Wahsh Al-Kaser is ideal for special operations, rapid response, reconnaissance, and peacekeeping missions.
JODDB will also unveil its state-of-the-art 40mm smoke grenade launcher, capable of launching 15 smoke grenades simultaneously. This system can be controlled either manually or automatically, with a firing range of up to 200 meters and an automatic targeting capability.
In addition, the company will display its Integrated Border Security System, featuring cutting-edge jamming solutions such as the Signal Striker, a handheld counter-drone jamming system, and the Sky Storm, a fixed counter-drone defense system.
JODDB will showcase its Test and Evaluation Center, which holds global accreditation from the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS). The center conducts over 536 specialized tests in line with international standards, covering armored military vehicles, weapons, ammunition, armor materials, and electronic and electrical components for military training systems.
JODDB will also present its comprehensive ammunition manufacturing capabilities, including 81mm and 120mm mortar rounds, 155mm artillery shells, MK81, MK82, and MK84 aircraft bombs, and a variety of small-caliber ammunition. Additionally, the company will exhibit ballistic vests and helmets, designed to provide protection against armor-piercing ammunition, as well as military-grade tactical boots.
Among JODDB’s weaponry lineup at IDEX 2025 is the new JSP 9 pistol, featuring a striker release system and an improved trigger pull. The company will also exhibit rifles, night and thermal sighting systems, and a range of tactical firearms optimized for modern military engagements.
JODDB’s CyberShield Academy will introduce its latest training programs and global initiatives, including the Armython cybersecurity challenge, designed for military and security agencies worldwide. This initiative aims to enhance the cyber resilience of armed forces through specialized training and real-world simulations.
