North Korea launches several ballistic missiles toward Sea of Japan

North Korea launched several ballistic missiles toward the Sea of Japan, South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff said.

The missiles were launched from the Wonsan area of North Korea and flew about 250 kilometers, according to the South Korean military.

Yonhap reported that the launches came a day after South Korea, the United States and Japan completed joint military exercises in international waters near Jeju Island.
