The US Army has awarded construction and engineering firm Conti Federal Services a $140.9 million contract to build a new aircraft complex at Francis E. Warren Air Force Base in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

The complex will include a Tactical Response Force Alert Crew Facility, Alert Aircraft Shelter, Aircraft Maintenance Unit, Aircraft Maintenance Shelter, and Aircraft Simulator.

Conti Federal said the firm-fixed-price contract also guarantees support to the improvement of new taxiways, runways, helipads, and airfield lighting.

“This is a very exciting project for us, and we’re honored that we were selected to build the new aircraft complex at F. E. Warren Air Force Base,” Conti Federal CEO Peter Ceribelli said.

“We are looking forward to working with the Omaha District and the 90th Missile Wing at FE Warren to get the job ‘Done Once and Done Right’.”

The aircraft complex is estimated to be completed by April 2025.

Previous Partnership

The US Army granted a nearly $19.7 million contract to Conti Federal in August 2021 for the construction of the Fighter Alert Shelter at Air National Guard’s Truax Field in Madison, Wisconsin.

The contract sought a new 28,000-square-foot (2,600-square-meter) Fighter Alert Shelter for the universal fighter aircraft.

“Conti Federal Services has extensive experience in national defense projects that require close attention to detail, effective collaboration, and detailed design requirements,” COO Lou Zecca said at the time.
