Russian Defense Industry Presents RB-504P-E Electronic Warfare System
Russia presented the RB-504P-E anti-drone system at the Airshow China exhibition.
Rosoboronexport CEO Alexander Mikheev stated that many foreign countries are allegedly interested in the complex.
He added that the RB-504P-E is equipped with multiple letter frequencies for jamming control channels and can also disrupt secure navigation channels.
The system can also be combined into a single-direction finding and electronic jamming network.
“We are conducting demonstrations abroad, among other things,” stated a Rosoboronexport representative.
The RB-504P-E system consists of two parts: a radio direction finder capable of detecting all types of unmanned vehicles and a suppression module that can operate in both circular and directional mode.
The principle of operation is designed to neutralize by directing jamming at the channels and video stream sending channels, simultaneously affecting the satellite navigation modules of unmanned vehicles.
It is claimed to suppress control and satellite navigation channels in the range from 420 to 5800 MHz.
The system was designed to counter single targets and group attacks by swarms of drones.
The range of electronic influence on the control channels and satellite radio navigation systems of UAVs is approximately 1.8 km.
It is capable of simultaneously forming 4 drone control channels and 2 satellite radio navigation channels. The system operates in automatic mode.
At the same time, defense companies in Ukraine have developed and introduced the “drone swarm” technology. Artificial intelligence-based technology makes it possible to combine several dozen drones into a single network.
