Turkish, Russian officials discuss Syria in Ankara

Türkiye’s Deputy Foreign Minister Nuh Yilmaz met with Russia’s Special Representative for Syria Alexander Lavrentiev in Ankara to discuss Syria.

Türkiye’s Deputy Foreign Minister Nuh Yilmaz has met with Russian President Vladimir Putin’s Special Representative for Syria Alexander Lavrentiev in Ankara, according to the Turkish Foreign Ministry.

The pair exchanged views on Syria with the participation of relevant institutes, it wrote on X on Saturday.

No further information on the meeting was disclosed.
