Türkiye’s defense, aviation exports up 25% to $3.6B in H1

Türkiye’s defense and aviation exports increased by 25% year-on-year in the January-June period, reaching $3.6 billion, the president of Türkiye’s Defense Industries Secretariat said on Wednesday.
Defense and aviation exports increased by 10.4% in June 2025 compared to the same period of the previous year, reaching $623 million, Haluk Gorgun said on X.
He said: “Our total exports in the last 12 months increased by 23.1%, reaching $7.45 billion. This rise is not just a statistic; it is the reflection of a development architecture designed with vision in the field.
“We are making the Turkish defense industry visible all around the world.”
The country revealed its overall export figures earlier on Wednesday, which showed an 8% increase to $20.54 billion in June.
