FM Fidan to visit Qatar for official talks, meet Hamas officials

Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan is set to embark on an official visit to Qatar on Wednesday. During the visit, Fidan will meet with Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Fidan is scheduled to discuss various matters with his counterpart Al Thani, including bilateral relations, the situation in Palestine, and regional developments.

Meetings with Hamas officials planned

Information obtained from diplomatic sources indicates that Fidan will also meet with Hamas officials during the visit. The ongoing negotiations will be among the agenda items discussed during these meetings.
