Netherlands to Supply Ukraine with Equipment and Missiles for F-16 Fighters

Netherlands announced a new aid package to be provided for the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces

The Netherlands will supply Ukraine with F-16 maintenance equipment and air-to-air missiles to enhance its air defense capabilities.

Dutch Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans made this announcement during the Ukraine Defense Contact Group meeting at Ramstein Air Base in Germany.

“F-16 aircraft require maintenance supplies and spare parts to remain operational. Without them, they cannot fly. The Netherlands will provide equipment worth €80 million,” said Dutch Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans.

This aid package includes spare parts, generators, small vehicles, maintenance tools, and ladders. The air-to-air missiles will enhance Ukraine’s ability to target enemy aircraft.

While the minister did not specify the exact quantity or types of items or the delivery timeline, he assured that the aid would arrive as soon as possible.
